One Oasis’ Grand Open House

Filinvest’s first development here in the City of Golden FriendshipOne Oasis, conducted its Grand Open House at the project’s site. Last August 27, brokers, salespersons and prospect buyers gathered in the said event. The open house was conducted as a part of the promotion and marketing strategy of One Oasis.

As a booming and blooming city, condominiums are popping out almost in every part of the city. Each condominium project has varied features and amenities that make them stand out from other condos. For one, One Oasis includes in the soon to develop condo projects here in Cagayan de Oro City. Unlike any other condos, One Oasis is a mid-rise condominium that would set in the heart of the city. While other developers are building high rise condominiums, Filinvest decided to make something that would differ them from the others.

For its latest update, Filinvest is working on the land development of the One Oasis site. This project would be composed of five mid rise buildings; each building has seven storeys. Next year, they will start to build one of the five buildings. Then eventually will continue to build the other buildings. One Oasis is a breath of fresh air for the Kagay-anons because of its unique style. It’s indeed a patch of green in the City of Golden Friendship because they are an advocate also of green living.

The open house was definitely a great way to further promote One Oasis. It was a fun day for all the visitors. Thanks to the Filinvest staff for the warm welcome. We look forward for more updates and events to come.

SHDA, Inc. Seminar

The Subdivision and Housing Development Association headed by Ms. Vivian Vestil of Land Resources Corp. held a seminar for all the accountants, developers, brokers and salespersons last August 23 at Budgetel.
With the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s new implemented regulations, the SHDA group decided to conduct this certain seminar to educate all the concerned people for this revenue regulation. The amended Revenue Regulation No. 2-98 was discussed and explained well to all the attendees by the BIR representatives. A representative from the City Treasurer’s office namely Mr. Glenn Banez was also present as well; wherein he talked about taxation and other things related to it.
Nowadays, a lot of people have been engaged to the real estate industry. Knowing that real estate business offers greater benefits and income, thus everybody wants to venture in the said industry. But venturing in real estate business is not an easy thing to do because one should be licensed to be able to sell. And that’s why SHDA, Inc. decided to conduct this seminar to answer the unanswered questions of the brokers and salespersons.

The seminar was also to give the developers, brokers and salespersons clarifications and further explanation of the amended revenue regulation; and also to give insights regarding the importance of taxation. The attendees have really learned a lot from the whole day seminar. With the open forum, everyone was able to voice out their concerns and their questions were given a clear answer. Big thanks to the SHDA, Inc. group for conducting this seminar. We’re looking forward for another meaningful seminar. Until then!

Educational Tour at Primavera Residences

Last 10th of August, Primavera Residences in cooperation with RPM Realty held its very first Educational Tour. Primavera Residences opened its door for the Civil Engineering students of one of the renowned university here in this city – Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan de Oro.
For the first time, the known eco-friendly building conducted an open house cum educational tour for the XU CE students as this was another promotional activity for Primavera Residences. Through this educational tour, it has not only taught the students on how the building was designed and built but it have also brought to their knowledge the benefits of choosing Primavera Residences. In this way, the attendees could share information and spread a word about the beauty of the very first green building in Cagayan de Oro City.
In the event, Engr. Marie Cristy S. Lugtu, the Vice President of Operations for Italpinas CDO, shared and tackled to the students the company’s profile, the building’s features and amenities, as well as the advantages and reasons in choosing Primavera Residences. After the forum, the students were given the privilege to have a tour around the building and they were assisted by the RPM Realty salespersons.
The educational tour was a fun and great event indeed. The students did not only learn something from the forum but they have also appreciated the building when they had the chance to roam around it. This activity wouldn’t be the last one so expect more educational tours to come with other colleges and universities. Kudos!

Westwoods Village: Now Open!

It’s been 7 months now since Pueblo de Oro announced to the public their newest property development – Westwoods Village. When they have disclosed this to the public, no reservations were accepted yet only letter of intents as they were still finalizing plans and developments for the subdivision.

Just last March 22, 2013 when PODC formally opened Westwoods Village to the public and that means reservations can be made already. Westwoods Village held its gate groundbreaking, emphasizing that the said subdivision is finally open. Present VIP’s in the said event were Mr. Rommel Leuterio, the COO of Pueblo de Oro Development Corporation, Mr. Syntax and Ms. Lulu of the A.V. Pamatong group.

After the groundbreaking, the brokers from different realty firms were privileged to have a closed door meeting together with Mr. Leuterio at Pueblo Golf Estates clubhouse. Mr. Leuterio shared his insights regarding the project that he himself is one of the creators. The Crucial Decision-making in Buying by Couples
